Ich hatte gestern schon ein Video aus der Moving Cities-Reihe hier bei mir im Blog: Moving Athens. Hatte da aber noch nicht so richtig begriffen, dass das eine Serie von Filmen von Jevan Chowdhury ist.
Moving Cities is a cross-cultural initiative that manifests into an ongoing collection of short films using dance to present the now of cities. The purpose since 2014 is to strengthen intercultural understanding through the arts.
Da mir das Konzept Alltagsaufnahmen + Ausdruckstanz ziemlich gut gefällt, werde ich in den nächsten Tagen hier im Blog mal alle Videos unterbringen. Heute nun Moving London:
London is an inferno, an everyday arrangement of old and new set against a symphony of people. The cars, the trains, the machines. It is a system of magical convenience. The concern of this film and the wider Moving Cities project is the bizarre and unusually harmonious relationship dancers have with cities.
