Wundervolle Aufnahmen von Los Angeles bei Nacht: LA Night

Mein Mediaplayer ist die Boxee Box von D-Link. Ich liebe das Teil! Wer die Box nicht kennt: Auf der „Startseite“ hat man die Möglichkeit eigenen Content anzusehen und bekommt immer drei Videos aus dem Netz vorgeschlagen. Meistens kenne ich die Videos zwar schon, mag das Feature aber dennoch sehr.

Heute war das Video L.A. Night mit dabei. Beim Ansehen war mein erster Gedanke: Das hat doch mit Sicherheit der Winkel schon im Blog gehabt. Kurz den Google Reader gecheckt und festgestellt, dass dem der Fall ist. Aber nicht nur bei ihm, sondern noch in einigen anderen Blogs (siehe unten). Witzigerweise hatte ich mir das Video sogar drei mal im Google Reader markiert, bis dato aber noch nicht gesehen.

I sought out to capture the electric radiance of Los Angeles at night.

It took me 6 months of on and off shooting to finish this project and I’ve learned a couple things along the way.

First off, LA might be the entertainment capital of the world, but it sure is difficult to shoot around downtown without having homeland security officers, police, or security take notice and harass you. Know your shooting rights!

Shooting time lapses is a labor of love and a study in patience.
